Meet Roxanna Martinez, Paralegal

Roxanna Martinez has assisted clients as a paralegal on family law matters for over 30 years, starting with A. David Parnie, Esq., in 1991, and has continued in the family law practice ever since. Her experience includes:

  • Drafting and filing pleadings, motions and other legal documents for current cases and filing them in court. 

  • Preparing draft Marital Settlement Agreements and Judgments for attorney review. 

  • Assisting the attorney during trials by compiling, maintaining and sharing information, and notes. 

  • Drafting correspondence and organizing financial documents and files.

  • Preparing discovery requests and responses. 

  • Assisting with trial preparation by preparing exhibits, and trial binders.

 

She also provides efficiency for the clients by collecting information, expert witnesses and other sources on behalf of the attorney. She, along with Mr. Johnson, frequently interviews and meets with clients and witnesses involved in the case, communicating with them throughout the various steps of the legal process.

Meet Aaron Johnson, Attorney

Aaron Johnson has represented clients in heavily-regulated industries, provided strategy and drafting advice on agriculture and family-based business transactions and advised on family law and estate planning matters for over 26 years.

Mr. Johnson’s experience is rooted in agricultural businesses that have undergone significant consolidation from the family farm to large corporate entities, and mergers and acquisitions related thereto.  He is the son of a Salinas Valley winegrape grower and initially studied plant science and viticulture at Fresno State before obtaining his Juris Doctorate and LL.M in Tax.

His focus in the last several years has been on family matters, which has included family law and estate planning.

In addition to practicing law, he has served his community and frequently becomes a leader in organizations he serves. Mentionable Boards and Community Involvement:
